Media Server
On the CM400
The CM400 is shipped with the Media server and iTunes server functions disabled. To turn them on follow these steps:
- Log on to the CM400 web interface.
- From the menu select DMS properties.

- Select Enable for services.
- Click on Submit.
- Then using your Windows or Mac file interface, transfer media files into the appropriate folders to be available over the network.
Turning on the iTunes Server
Similar to turning on the DMS server, you need to select the iTunes server properties from the main menu.

Steps:
- Log onto the CM400 web interface.
- From the menu select iTunes Server Properties
- Click the Enable option under the iTunes server properties
- Make sure all your music is in the media_library/music folder.

On the CM404:
The following steps need to be followed.
Steps:
- After loging into the Web User Interface of the CM404, click on the “Control Panel” tab

- From the main menu on the left side, select Network services.

- When you select Network services, a drop down menu will appear. From this drop down menu, select Bonjour

- Upon selecting Bonjour, the following screen will appear. Please put a check mark by enabling both the boxes, and select Save.

- Your iTunes server is now enabled.
The files and folders of music need to be placed in the Public folder or any subfolder of the Public folder.
